Coffee and Conversation Link Party #14 - Grab a Cup and Join UsWelcome to another Coffee and Conversation Link Party! As always, it’s a pleasure to have you. Grab that cup of coffee and check out a little of what we’ve been up to at Mom’s Morning Coffee…

~ Jane Hersey, National Director for Feingold Association offered some great tips for Helping Your Kids Avoid Halloween Hangover. Whether your family goes to a Hallelujah Festival or goes trick-or-treating, you’ll find some helpful ideas (and useful information!) in her post.

~ Laurel Griffith shared some wisdom she gleaned when her children were little – 5 Ways to Lose the Mayhem this Holiday Season. Her concern that all the Christmas “magic was really mayhem in disguise” and that her children were missing the true meaning led to a few changes in their Christmas traditions.

Here are our favorites from last week’s link up:

Medicine Making Supplies from Strangers and Pilgrims on Earth – With the cold weather headin’ this way, it’s the perfect time to check out the valuable information in JES’ DIY post.

5 Family Fun Games with the Littles from A Little R & R – ‘Cause really, you can never play enough games with the kiddos; they grow up way to quick!

12 Tasty Crockpot Recipes from A Life in Balance – Barb shares a roundup of 12 simple dinners – Who doesn’t need that?

When It’s Only Words from Essential Thing Devotions – Mel issues a challenge to grow spiritually as she encourages us to expect to hear from God when we read His Word.

5 Ways to Build a Home Where God Abides from What Joy is Mine

How to Use Swagbucks (with videos) from Being the Imperfect Mom – If you’ve ever wondered about Swagbucks (What are they? How can they benefit me?) then you’ll definitely want to check out Brandi’s post!

Candy

Candy is a southern girl who enjoys the simple things in life. Dirt road drivin’, Sunday afternoon nappin’, back yard swingin’, and sunset watchin’ are a few of the things that make her smile. She’s been married to her best friend and the love of her life for almost 25 years and is navigating motherhood with her 4 children, aged 23, 19, 14, & 11. Homeschooling for over 18 years now, she is also a bit of a word-nerd (ok, maybe more than a “bit” – she actually considers making lists of homophones to be entertaining), a lover of books and chocolate, a survivor of cancer, an author, and a hula hoop maker.
