Good morning and welcome to Coffee and Conversation #150!
One of the fun things about having adult kids is getting to “do life” with them…on their turf. This week I’m visiting my daughter and son-in-law and helping them do a bit of remodeling!
Nothing major, but our big project will be re-covering some dining room chairs that she found for a steal online! I’ll include pictures in next week’s C&C 🙂
Didn’t want to leave y’all hangin’, tho’ – we’re still in par-tay mode here on the blog…
So let’s move on to our features…
Redemption carries with it the idea of something being held captive, of a price being paid for the release of someone imprisoned. The prisoner is powerless to secure his own freedom, and his redeemer rescues him by covering the cost.
I asked God to release my husband’s Father’s Day—and Anna’s recital day—from sorrow, loss, grief, and dread. I asked Jehovah to pay the price and free the day to be glorious.
Enjoy this lovely handmade card tutorial! A handwritten note is always sure to brighten someone’s day…and gives a special touch to Father’s Day – coming up this weekend!
If there’s one thing I know about homeschool moms, it’s that we love to focus on the good things that happen during our homeschool time.
In our efforts to express to people how much we love this way of life, we can sometimes forget that people, especially other homeschoolers, need to hear the negative aspects, as well.
Today I’m going to set the record straight on one thing…
Not all kids adore homeschooling.
Thank you all so much for your inspiration and timely words…
Please feel free to grab our button for your site and brag about your feature!
