Good morning and welcome to Coffee and Conversation #137!
Today’s post “speaks” for itself!
Looking forward to seeing you on Friday!
Now, on to our features! 😉
While cleaning the bathroom the other day, I realized how thankful I was for my very favorite cleaning product, and the ONLY recipe I will ever use to clean my shower…and then this post popped up! With new cleaning recipes in hand! Yay! Y’all, if you don’t use vinegar around the house, you really need to try it sometime…
In our homestead family, we battle skin allergies, skin sensitivities, and airborne allergies. Because of this, we have started eliminating more and more chemicals from our lives. Several years ago, at the very beginning of our dreams and aspirations of moving from a cookie-cutter home in the suburbs to a homestead in the county, we watched a documentary called “Chemerical”. We were shocked and terrified with the statistics that were revealed and convinced that we needed to begin replacing all of the chemicals in our lives with natural and/or homemade products that were safe.
I love that my daughter loves those STEM subjects, but since they’re not exactly my strong suits, I always appreciate some encouragement and help in that direction…
We have seen the push for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education. This push is to prepare students for the high tech world and job market they will be entering. As homeschool parents, we can assure that our children get the type of education that they need. Search for quality math, science, and technology curriculum. Then, use the ones that appeal to your child’s learning style, personality, and interest. That’s the beauty of homeschool. We can adapt everything to each child!
Thank you all so much for your inspiration and timely words…
