Good morning and welcome to Coffee and Conversation #117 – hosted by PatAndCandy.com!
Have you been enjoying Coffee and Conversation?
Well, here’s a “heads-up” for November!
“I don’t know how you do it all!” is something that I hear. A lot.
And while I do admit that God’s given me an ability to be very productive, there are
days times when we all hit our limit. This month is one of those times for me…
The plans in place for 2017 – personally, for my family, and for the blog – all require a bit of prep-work. Luckily for us, we have some amazing blogging buddies.
So each Wednesday this November, we have some aMAzing guest bloggers who have volunteered to write some wonderful articles for our weekly Coffee and Conversation. This way, we can keep it going and I can carve out a few extra working hours each week.
Although we will not be having any featured posts, we are confident you’ll find our friends’ words educational and/or inspiring and/or entertaining.
Here’s who you have to look forward to!
I’m including each blogger’s social media links, too, so you can start getting to know them.
* Elizabeth Spencer – from GuiltyChocoholicMama – A seriously funny lady, (I hope) you’ll love her as much as I do!
* Tori Cole – from MessToBlessed – She writes about DIY, Faith, Family and Fun, and I’m sure we’re all in for a treat.
* Tracy Fredrychowski – from OurSimpleHomestead – Tracy will be sharing a simple game to engage the family around the Thanksgiving table this year.
* Helene Smith – from MaidServantsOfChrist – She’ll be giving us some practical and inspirational gift ideas for a Pastor’s wife. Just in time for holiday gift giving…
Come back each week for someone new and different…and I’ll see you in December!
Now, on to our features!
My hubby’s been traveling a bit for work lately, so I’ve taken to working in the garden to “kill time”. Actually, it’s reminded me that I (used to) LOVE working out there and getting my hands dirty, so I especially enjoyed these Fall Landscaping Ideas from Deborah at UrbanNaturalle. (And you don’t really have to live in an urban area to enjoy them, either!)
Back again this week, Beth at SweetlySparta shares some wonderful tips for bloggers…or anyone else who is working from home and/or is self-employed. I especially found #11 and #15 crucial, m’self.
We all know that no two kids are alike, but the fact remains that we need to teach them similar things like life skills, character traits, and the like. Belinda, at LiveLifeWithYourKids, offers some great parenting advice here…
Thank you all so much for your inspiration and timely words…
Please feel free to grab our button for your site and brag about your feature!
Now, on to the party…
Just a reminder…
By linking up, you’re confirming that you’ve read and agree to the following…
Link up family-friendly posts that support our site’s mission of encouraging, inspiring & informing women. Think: parenting, homeschooling, marriage, recipes, DIY, saving money, faith-building, etc. (Serious business…Link up vulgarity and it’ll be deleted.) Please feel welcome to contribute up to 3 posts!
…and then visit at least 2 other links. That’s what makes this a par-tay! Plus, it’s kinda the polite thing to do.
Linking up gives us permission to use and share your photos and blog posts (giving credit to you, of course!).
Share posts with good quality, pinnable images and be sure to link back to us in your post or on your blog. You can use the Coffee & Conversation button in your sidebar or a text link. (Your chances of being featured will greatly increase 😉 )
Oh, and would you be so kind as to Tweet this and pass the word around?
