We’re so glad you’re here!
Oh my goodness, such a small world we live in…even our “virtual” one! This week I’m adding our latest post to the Ultimate Marriage Reading Challenge…and wait till you see what our featured post is ;-)!
As a recap, this is our latest installment on Sheila Wray Gregoire’s Ultimate Marriage Reading Challenge, which we joined up with this year. Her site, ToLoveHonorandVacuum, offers lots of quality support and encouragement for today’s marriages.
This month the theme is Cultivating New Attitudes. We all know how important attitude is to ‘most anything we do. And keepin’ it real here, I sometimes have the hardest time quieting those persnickety little voices in my head – you ever have the same trouble?
Anyway, Nine Thoughts That Can Change Your Marriage: Because a Great Relationship Doesn’t Happen by Accident is just the ticket to the Biblical exhortation to adjust our attitude and…
be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2 (NIV)
I’m already a fan of Sheila’s 31 Days to Great Sex, and therefore, knowing where she’s coming from, I am not surprised by any means to see the subject of her new book; I have supreme confidence that what she has to say will bless the socks off any marriage!
Now, if books aren’t your “thing”, don’t use that as an excuse not to read! Sometimes we can find some new information or inspiration from a good article or blog post to give us a new way of looking at things and help improve our ‘tudes…
And of course, we’ve written a little bit about attitudes in your marriage, too. Check out, for example (each link will open up into a new tab, so click away!):
Praying for Your Husband – Day 20 deals with attitudes
Happily Ever After – Anyone up for a Disney-movie-marriage?
Meaningful Marriage – A good marriage starts in your head…
When Do I Get to Say “I did already?” – …and continues in your heart.
How to Shift the Focus in Your Marriage – Focus sometimes equals obsession…and the root of that one lies in our minds.
Now…on to our features!
Our friend Beth from Messy Marriage shared her review of Sheila Wray Gregoire’s latest book: Nine Thoughts That Can Change Your Marriage…and obviously our readers loved it! If you’re one of the few that didn’t head over there last week, definitely do it today!
Our second feature also included a link party – so there’s even more wonderful content waiting for you when you visit her site. I really enjoyed Susan Mead’s post on family…mine is so very precious to me… Yours, too?!
Thank you for your inspiration! Please feel free to grab a button to
brag about it display on your site! 😉
Now on to the party!
By linking up, you’re confirming that you’ve read and agree to the following…
Link up family friendly posts that support our site’s mission of encouraging, inspiring & informing women. Think: marriage, parenting, recipes, DIY, saving money, faith-building, etc. (Serious business…Link up vulgarity and it’ll be deleted.) Please limit your contributions to 2 shares, so that others may have a place at the party…
…and then visit at least 2 other links. That’s what makes this a par-tay! Plus, it’s kinda the polite thing to do.
Linking up gives us permission to use and share your photos and blog posts (giving credit to you, of course!).
Share posts with good quality, pinnable images and be sure to link back to us in your post or on your blog. You can use the Coffee & Conversation button above or a text link. Your chances of being featured will greatly increase.
Oh, and would you be so kind as to Tweet this and pass the word around?
