Welcome to Coffee and Conversation #127…and one of my favorite kind of parties!! Looking forward to meeting some of you…or getting to know you better!
But what is an “About Page Link Party,” you ask?
Readers: We feel that a site’s About Page reveals so much about the heart behind a blog. Not only the “why’s”, but the “how’s” which, often enough, include a story or two that will endear you to the writer…
We hope you’ll enjoy meeting some of the new folks who participate in Coffee and Conversation or get reacquainted with some of the amazing women that make up our blogging community!
Bloggers: Don’t be shy…Share your About Page and then spend a bit of time visiting others!
Please note: As you add your links, make sure the URL goes straight to your About page (not to your home page or a blog post) and please use the name of your blog as the “name” of your post. **We reserve the right to delete links that don’t lead to your About Page.**
So…take a look around! Visit some new faces and spaces… Comment and share and spread the word around!
The more the merrier 🙂
But let’s not forget some of the highlights from last week!
Encouraging. Practical. Doable. Consider making THIS year… your year! From Bonnie at Inspire The Best You –
This time of year tends to be full of reflection, planning, and hope. Whether this past year has been great or horrible for you, I’m sure you’re hoping that the New Year has some wonderful things in store. I know I personally want it to be the year that I finally make a success with my new business and writing ventures. I also know that believing I can do these things will get me halfway there!
I read so many posts over the past few weeks about staying healthy during the holidays, but, ya’ know, the holidays only last a few weeks. Newsflash: Establishing habits that lay a firm groundwork in self-care before you’re in stressful situations prevent the need to make any changes during a time when you are least able to make them! From Lisa at Feathers in the Woods –
…Taking care of yourself is not about watching what you eat as much as it is about everything else you do during your day. Here are my 13 favorite stay healthy tips for this holiday season.
For some insane reason we love to glamorize being busy. It is as if by saying “Gosh, I am just so busy” we seem more important. And we are not. Taking care of ourselves should be our number one priority… Caring for yourself is as easy as having a cup of tea in the quiet or propping your feet up for a few minutes before the next meeting. But whatever you do make sure it leaves you feeling refreshed and happy. if only for a few moments before you face the hustle and bustle of life. Here are some other ideas I personally like. From Maria at Nordic Papaya…
Love me some hot chocolate, don’t you?! And keeping in the spirit of self-care…I think I’ll go fix myself a cuppa…
Hot chocolate is a staple of the winter weather & the holidays, but we think it can be a little basic. So this season we decided to take our hot chocolate up a notch by making some Frozen Mexican Hot Chocolate with our Michelin Star Holiday Edition Try the World Box. This is a bit of a different take in that we’re making a frozen hot chocolate, and it’s also a bit spicy – with cinnamon! From Hannah and Sara at The Perfect Storm –
