This time of year often finds many people in a little bit of a lull.
The holidays are over. Spring is not quite here yet – actually, some readers may be in the middle of a cold snap, buried under snow, or at the very least, experiencing grey, dreary weather. It’s just easy to feel burdened by the blues.
Our teens are no different.
And in addition to these seasonal or weather-related issues, they may also be dealing with other concerns:
- peer pressure…
- difficult coursework…
- balancing work and studies…
- quirky relationships…
If you have a high-school Junior or a Senior, as I do, they are also wrestling with those longer-term “what-do-I-want-to-do-with-my-life?” type of questions. It’s not an easy time for them, but you can help them out by modeling persistence, optimism, and a can-do spirit. You can also encourage them by sharing stories of people who have overcome serious life challenges, or perhaps sharing your own experiences of the same…
Inspiring quotes for teens that will encourage, inspire and uplift them!
Much as we created our encouraging playlist for those who are inspired by music, I recognize that other people are more encouraged by words and literature (yes, even some teens!). So share some of these quotes with them – shoot them a text, post it on their Facebook wall, or heck, even print one or two out and tape it to their door or bathroom mirror!
Clicking on each image will open them up in a new tab. If you decide to print them, each image will print on a full sheet of 8.5 X 11 paper. Feel free to laminate your favorites!20 Inspiring quotes for your high-school student...encouraging words endure... Click To Tweet
